Martin Brother style replica "Wally Bird". Made in 2020 by Stuart Hall from Bulmer, Essex. Gas kiln fired and slip decorated. Stuart runs his own antique restoration business from Brentwood Essex called "Le Potier". He originally made ceramic ornaments in clay to sell before moving into antique restoration. Recently he was asked by a friend to make a series of replica "Wally Birds" originally created by. Two remaining birds are available for sale.

They are inspired by the Martin. Brothers rather than being literal copies. They are in high fired stoneware with stains and oxides and a clear stoneware semi gloss glaze applied in the firing. They come with a detachable lidded head.

The birds are signed Hall brothers as Stuart's brother fired them in his pottery kiln in Halstead, Essex. Approximately 18-20 cm tall, a very similar scale to the originals.
